Thinking About You- Mojo Monday 303

Hello everyone!!! I just wanted to take a moment to show you a card that I just made. I haven't been on my blog in a while. Partly because I was having a hard time with coming up with a card design. I guess you would call it a creative block. So I decided to put in a card entry to a blog that I have been following called Mojo Monday Blog. At the beginning of every week they have a card sketch challenge. This week the challenge was based on this sketch. This is the very first time that I put in an entry to Mojo Monday. I used Ranger Clear Embossing Ink to emboss the black panel. I also used a background stamp from Hero Arts (I am sorry I don't remember the name of the stamp). Then I used some black cardstock by Recollections  to make another panel for my sentiment. The sentiment is from Gina K and Stamp TV  called Poster Board Sentiments. I used Ranger Black Archival Ink for the sentiment. I used a scrap piece of black and gray polka dotted paper. The bow was made from black tulle, and I adhered a small strip of black ribbon with white dashes. And to finish it off I used some self adhesive rhinestone bling by Zva Creative. I must admit I was feeling very intimidated about placing an entry with Mojo Monday, because of all of the beautiful creations that I have seen on the blog. But I had to put it aside to break through my creative block. I hope that you enjoy my card. Let me know how you deal with creative block. Let me know what you think. Please feel free to leave your comments.

You Are Such A Fabulous Friend To Me & Shoot For The Stars

Hello my crafty friends!!! I hope that all is well with you. Today I want to share a couple of cards that I made last Friday. The first card is titled "You Are Such A Fabulous Friend To Me". The sentiment comes from Gina K.'s Poster board  Sentiments stamp set. I used white and black CS 8.5"x11" by Recollections for my card base and panels. The zigzag pattern came from Heidi Swapp stencil and Stampin Up! ink pads Regal Rose, Daffodil Delight, and Tangerine Tango. I got the label for the sentiment from Hot Off The Press- Lovely Labels stencil and I colored it with Ranger Archival Black Ink. I added some flowers that I sprayed with some ink that I made myself. The stringed pearls I got from Hobby Lobby, and I finished it off with some natural twine. The second card was also made last Friday. It is titled Shoot For The Stars from the stamp set with the same name from Simon Says Stamp. I used white and black CS 8.5"x11" from Recollections and the gold embossing powder from Hero Arts. The clear embossing ink used on this card is by Ranger. I hope that you like both cards. Don't forget to leave a comment, they are always welcome here. Hugs and Kisses, Alisa

Ladybug Hugs

Hello my crafty friends! I just wanted to share with you one of the few things that I made. It's a tag that I made for a good friend of mine. She needed them for her church for some Mother's Day bags that she was putting together. I made 28 tags but she only needed 24 of them. I came up with this idea because I had just received a stamp set from The Stamps of Life by Stephanie Barnard. The stamp set is called Ladybugs2Love, and I absolutely love Stephanie Barnard's products. You can find Stephanie

on YouTube under Stephanie Barnard or The Stamps of Life. I hope I got that right. To make this project I used a stencil for the shape of my tag, I added the SU ink Real Red, and some Ranger Archival Jet Black ink. I then used the sentiment from the Ladybugs2Love set in Archival Black Ink. I cut out my ladybug and adhered it with some SU Dimensionals, added some black tulle and red ribbon to tie it off. I added some stringed pearls and a small handmade paper flower with a pearl on top. I really hope that you like it! Send me your comments they are always welcomed.

Hello World!

Hello everyone!
My name is Alisa. I am a stay at home wife and mom of five. I decided to write this blog to share
with the you the things that I love. You might ask, "What is it that she loves?", well I'll tell you. I love and has always loved all things crafty since childhood. But, I've only been papercrafting( scrapbooking and cardmaking etc...) since 2011. I am very new to blogging, and thought that I should do it to be able to share the things in my life that I love. There are times that I may not post
anything due to health issues, but as soon as I am feeling better I will be back with a post. So until then I will be seeing you. Be Blessed.
